The Christia.NZ podcast is for all followers of Jesus in Aotearoa New Zealand, irrespective of denomination. If you’d like to know what the podcast’s founders and advocates believe, you’ll find that the Gospel Coalition Confessional Statement sums us up: Foundation Documents of The Gospel Coalition.

We are strong believers in the historicity, sovereignty and divinity of Jesus; the centrality of the Christian Good News; the authority of the Bible; and the beauty, mutual submission, and holiness of the church.

Put another way: Jesus was really born, he really did miracles, he really died, and he really rose again from the dead. Everything he said is true, and the Bible gives an accurate account of his life and its implications. This historical series of facts is the most important message anyone can ever hear. The community of Jesus followers (followers, not attendees!) is a lifelong witness to the living Jesus.

Our vision is for New Zealand Christians to encourage one another and promote maturity in Christ.

Each fortnightly episode includes a series of segments discussed by our panel, and a list of events to check out.

The sort of everyday Kiwi Christians who started this podcast are like those you might rub shoulders with, in any Sunday service:
